We specialise (where we can) in designing sites in XHTML and CSS2 making sure that we use structural mark-up and none of the nonsense code that some web site creator's use. We take great care in separating out the design / layout from the content so making it easy if necessary to edit / update the site.
Search Engine Optimisation

Search engine optimisation is the process of choosing the content, format, and mark-up(tagging) of your web site, along with a few other tricks. Accessibility
Around ten per cent of web users have a visual or physical impairment so your web site needs to be easy to see and use. Text to speech browsers, and users without a mouse rely on special code within your web site to be able to use it easily, that's why all our sites comply with at least Level AA of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
New legislation means that web sites, in particular those offering services to the public, education, and work based intranet's have to comply with accessibility guidelines under the The Disability Discrimination Act 2005 (DDA 2005). Cross Browser Compatibility
Because there are many different Web Browsers in use around the world that run on Desktops, PDA's even on mobile phones, your web site needs to work on the majority if not across all of them. You may only use one browser, i.e.. Internet Explorer, and therefore you would not realise that your site looks different to someone else who may be using a different browser, a different version of IE, or indeed a different computer, like an Apple Mac.
